JIAB Hyrcenter has, on March 20, 2023, been acquired by Ramirent. Together, JIAB Hyrcenter and Ramirent now become the leading rental company both in Norrbotten and throughout Sweden.

JIAB Hyrcenter has about 60 employees in northern Sweden, which will become part of Ramirent. Together, Ramirent and JIAB form the leading rental company with nearly 100 different customer centers in Sweden.

The deal is part of Ramirent's strategy to be a strong player with local roots throughout Sweden, but especially in the north. JIAB is very well established and has a high level of local market knowledge. Through the acquisition, Ramirent gets the benefits of the strong local anchoring through JIAB, while we have the size and resources of Ramirent and Loxam, says Johan Färm, CEO Ramirent AB.

Ramirent is hereby strengthening its position throughout Norrbotten with five new customer centers in Luleå, Piteå, Boden, Kiruna and Gällivare. In general, there is a strong focus on northern Sweden with significant investments in companies, innovations and solutions that can contribute to the green transition. Here, Ramirent wants to be involved in conducting energy-efficient sustainable operations and contribute to a fossil-free society.
