Multifoot can be installed on the building vault before the final pour and is then protected from the poured concrete by a pour guard. The casting cover allows for a cast coating of up to 50 mm around the Multifoot and can then be easily removed and reused. Once the Multi-Foot has been removed and the shoe pulled out of the coating, the small cavity can be filled again. The performance of the Multi-Foot is not affected by the use of the cast cover.
